We were lucky to catch up with Zainab Bassam recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Zainab, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

From a young age, when I watched TV from series and movies, I liked to become like them and give more effort in this field. When I was young, I was obsessed with watching movies and series, and I was very much noticing the duration of their creativity to throw the story to the viewer. I have a passion from a young age to become like them and with more creativity until I was imitating the characters of the series and watching it at home as a kind of play …,but this game has become my ambition and a dream of my dreams, and here I am start step by step, in addition to the fame that leads me to realise many ambitions, I like to share life, creativity and experiences with all , Acting is an art, talent and creativity, from the movement of a body or face capable of delivering a lot of stories.

Zainab, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m Zainab Bassam, one of my hobbies and my passion from a young age is acting and now I am seeking to achieve this dream step by step in addition to my studies at the Lebanese University in business administration. First, I was working with small companies as a model of clothes,face model . I was happy because I love it, but I didn’t find, which I was looking for , I got to know the head of the folk arts band in Tripoli – north of Lebanon, Mr. Tawfiq Al-Masri, who gave me an opportunity to do first and second step theatrical exercises for 4 months. The amount of happiness, pride and comfort cannot be described as In terms of my participation, I got a theatre certificate and a card that represents that I am affiliated with the folk arts band in the field of acting, and currently two series and film projects are being prepared with my participation talking about the difference between Tripoli and Beirut. Features: I do my job with creativity and perfection to deliver the required message, love and non-discrimination among colleagues, acting helps to get rid of repressed energies and negative energies. The hobby of acting helps to get rid of the problem of excessive shyness, and contributes to greater integration with society. Boost self-confidence and increase the ability to speak in front of a large audience. Acting helps to gain the speed of intuition and increases a person’s ability to express himself optimally.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

First, satisfaction, love and comfort in what I do, the pride of my family in me, the love of people, the financial amount that allows me to help my family and the needy, achieve ambitions even if you fail, if you do not fail, you will not succeed, and if you do not have an enemy, you are not successful, every ambitious person goes through many failed

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

_Cooperation and love between all artists because they are representatives of their country and society. _ Holding technical trainings to develop their talents_Giving an opportunity for artistic participation for everyone who likes it _ Encouraging their work_Providing prizes and rewards
