Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Zah Morgan. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Zah, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Growth is exciting, but from what we’ve seen across thousands of conversations with entrepreneurs it’s also dangerous if costs aren’t watched closely – sometimes costs can grow out of control outpacing revenue growth and putting the viability of the entire business at risk. How have you managed to keep costs under control?

That momentum of wanting to work for yourself and having your own business sometimes feels impossible especially when it comes to costs of things. We want perfect, effective, great quality meanwhile we don’t have the budget for it. This is why I love assisting people with their business and offer them a low fee but still get epic results. I feel that it’s so important to keep costs at minimum especially when your starting off. You may be someone who is just starting off but working a 9-5 still. Or someone who just took a leap of faith and started their own company with only a savings. I love providing services that start at $8hr. It’s affordable and not straining yet it’s a relief to be able to get great services to help build your team and still be able to wiggle around!

Zah, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Be Epic , You Deserve it is my motto. My name is Zah, I’m a serial entrepreneur. I created Be Epic because I wanted to show people through my own life that no matter where you came from, no matter what you go through. You can have your own definition of an Epic life. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska , mother of 2. I worked in the corporate world for 20 years. Having kids and working for someone was so hard. So I started my own companies so that I could spend more time with my kids.

Helping business owners build their businesses and see time freedom is so very satisfying. Be Epic provides virtual assistants to people weather you are a start up or been in business for years. We want to give you your time back by taking tasks off your plate for low fee. Our goal is to provide epic services and help people turn their dreams to reality without a strain.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

My entrepreneurial journey has definitely been an interesting ride. Which is what makes Be Epic stand for everything great and good. Because for a lot of us to get to where we are today we probably went through some serious crises.

A few years ago I owned a Collection Agency. I started it by myself and eventually brought on a partner that I thought at the time was more like family. Our partnership ended when he got caught cheating with his wife (who I also hired to work for me) and somehow blamed me. Used me to make it seem like he wasn’t. Our partnership was sour and things got hectic and ugly. We had an agreement for us to settle our partnership. Long story short he stole my company vehicle, accounts, customers, $214,000 and left me with every single loan or financial bill.

I didn’t allow that situation to break me down. For most would have given up but I started better and bigger. Be Epic is a prime example that you can be great, you can be amazing, you can be strong, you can be whatever you desire and do it EPIC!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I think building a relationship with people helped build my reputation in my market. Showing people the real, showing people that my services are epic because I utilize them myself. Be Epic is ran by Virtual Assistants. People have seen me start from scratch and start over and I may have had my assistant Bern for 2 hours a day but it was the 2 hours I needed to build my business back up. When people see authentic it’s trusting for them to use also.
