We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Zachary Taurosa. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Zachary below.
Zachary, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Ever since I started creating art my main goal has always been to produce content that people can enjoy or relate to. Recently i’ve been working on clothing designs that focuses on overcoming addiction and dealing with mental health. I wanted to create designs for people going through AA / NA or any other substance abuse issues that they can wear as a reminder that they can overcome their addictions.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a 24 year old graphic designer / 3D Modeler located in San Diego currently working as a contractor at Meltdown Productions
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist would definitely be the freedom of expressing myself through my work and seeing others enjoy my work. Ever since I was young I had a hard time expressing myself until I started creating art.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Right now my main goal with my work is to just keep creating and expressing myself. I understand making money is important and it definitely helps but its definitely not on my mind. When creating art, all thats on my mind is the art itself. The money comes second.
