Alright, Yvonne thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

6 years ago I quit my six-figure corporate job to launch a business I did not even know I had. I just knew there was something more for me to do in this world and my life had a greater impact than what I was presently experiencing. I had one goal in mind when I quit and that was to write a book that I had been working on for several years and the urgency to finish it was haunting me. As a wife and mother of five, I was investing in myself, which I had not done for a long time.

I encourage entrepreneurs to trust their gut! You never know what’s inside of you until you explore the possibilities. I am a firm believer that a person is born fully equipped with all the gifts, skills, and ingenuity they need to fulfill their purpose on Earth. In closing, my favorite movie scene is in the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark, Quest for the Holy Grail. The scene that captured my attention was when Indiana Jones had to go and retrieve the Holy Grail, the task looked impossible and the bridge was daunting but the moment he took one step the entire bridge appeared. A life lesson, the first step is the only step that matters.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I believe your audience will find you. You focus on the problem and the people who need your answer will connect with you. My wheelhouse is rebranding; I call myself the “Rebranding Coach.” I rebrand websites, books, social media platforms, and lives. Most of my clients are up and running or have an idea but are not quite happy with where they are and what they paid for. They just started where they were at and now their vision has expanded and they need the platform to support not where they started but what they are going. Like I said previously, I started to just write a book. From there I launched my own publishing company, social media platform, website design company, and branding specialist. I also have a collection of DIY online tools for the client who wants to do it on their schedule. Some people like the process!

As a visionary, my driving aim is to create for my clients a product that takes their breath away. I believe I have a supernatural knack to create for them what they are not able to articulate.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

The story I a most proud of is, I had the opportunity to save someone’s life. There is nothing on Earth more precious than a human life. 16 years ago I donated a kidney to a friend. I am proud to be a living donor. That experience speaks volumes about who I believe I am as a person, I have always had a heart to save, rescue, and heal. As a child, my mother supported my efforts to save and take care of animals, although she is no longer here her belief in my value and efforts as a human being have shaped the course of my life and career. I believe these experiences have shaped how and why I do business; to give people meaning and hope. I am a Christian and I want my live to speak louder than my actions.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

The bottom line is I give people what they pay me for. My client’s vision is the most important aspect of the work I do. I want what we accomplish together to take their breath away. If you feel good about how you show up in the business space that energy will be transferred to your clients.
