We were lucky to catch up with Yusuf Sanusi recently and have shared our conversation below.
Yusuf, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of the toughest things about entrepreneurship is that there is almost always unexpected problems that come up – problems that you often can’t read about in advance, can’t prepare for, etc. Have you had such and experience and if so, can you tell us the story of one of those unexpected problems you’ve encountered?
My first taste of the music business was when I was taken advantage of by a popular QC DJ named DJ Champ. He went on to become Lil Baby DJ.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
A time that illustrates my resistance is me holy through the situation with Lil Baby’s DJ and still finding a positive outlook in all of the negativity. I went on to release more music and gain full control of my creative direction. Created my own clothing line and learned to shoot videos and edit


Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Hand to hand business and word of mouth are always top tier marketing. No one goes to bat for you more than a client that is satisfied and wants to tell others about there experiences
