Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Young Bail. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Young , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
When I was about 13 I was playing sports at first & when that didn’t really amount to anything other than injuries & average play I time to really put my focus on music & that’s when I started writing raps.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Yes My Name is D’Aaron Summer most know me by my stage name Young Bail or Bail I have been making music on a serious professional level since 2011-12 I started rapping when I was about 10-11 years of age started writing raps at 13 dropped my first mixtape in 2012 & currently have out 3 Eps on all streaming platforms most notably my newest project Only Yours out now on all streaming platforms. I started a brand called All Work No Sleep in 2016 right now we are currently rebranding our merch I started the brand because I wanted to have something other than music to my resume in regards to creativity so on & so forth I’m Most proud of the fact I got myself on a Billboard in Times Square to promote my new project Only Yours that felt so good a lot of people seen it & we did a Vlog for it on my YouTube channel
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My Mission is to be respected not only by my peers in music & in the creative spaces but by Artist & creatives before me as well & after I want to be able to flourish in regards to making my “Dream” a reality in regards to making music & being looked at as a household name
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Yes so throughout this time I have been making music independently for 10 years now & what this journey has taught me is to be patient & to understand that not everyone’s path will be the same learning & understanding that has helped me big time before everything was a rush a right now thing but ever since 2016 my motto has been fall in love with the journey since then I’ve seen my success grow gradually. So I would say patience prayer & perseverance
