Alright, Yolanda thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard

Good thing that I do with my business iwifresh differently from the industry standards in my industry standards is the beauty industry standard is creating raw beauty on the shelves creating products with shelflife creating skin care products that have to be refrigerated creating products that are toxin free that are healthier for you that are not full of ingredients that will harm you and disrupt your health

Yolanda , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am Yolanda Owens known as the skin care farmer chef I am the founder of iwifresh farm to your skin spa and product line what we do at iwifresh is we partner with local farmers community farmers where we handpick all their fruits and veggies and herbs we harvest them we bring them back to our spa where we juice mix and dehydrate them to make Skincare recipes. We take those recipes and apply them to our vegan spa services. I was inspired by my grandmother who was a home remedy queen she would create all types of remedies for the family out of things from her kitchen and from her garden. My company iwifresh stands for itis what itis because we are passionate about helping you feed your skin the truth, it’s about educating the community and the masses on connecting health and beauty products that are fresh from the farm, and toxin free m. We believe in educating you and knowing that whatever you put in your skin connects to your Health, and it can cause damaging long-term health effects. Toxin products can disrupt your life and can cause death and so iwi fresh is here to tell the truth to stop the lies in the beauty industry about the skin care and beauty products. The question that we leave with every client “Is Beauty worth dying for?” we feel that there is a conspiracy with capitalist in the beauty industry on being able to capitalize of women’s beauty vulnerability and they don’t tell you the truth there has been no FDA regulations truly since 1938 the most recent one which was about four or five years ago was very minimum very minimum shift so there’s so much toxin in these personal care and beauty products that the industry does not tell you so iwifresh is here to tell the truth to remove the lies about the beauty industry

Have you ever had to pivot?

During Covid when the pandemic hit our spa we had to shut down for four months straight, it was very challenging for me as a business owner to maintain the revenue and keep our business open. I had to cut staff. I had to keep the morale of the team that I had left positive and not negative, and then I had to come up with creative ways to keep our business alive. This was a challenging time but a very rewarding time it was a time to slow down and see the business for what it was truly worth, it was time to see all the details of the company structure, it was time to re-create and pivot.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

The source of new clients is providing good energy consistent customer service consistent engagement and genuine being genuine being real is what has really been the source of new clients and we provide these things through our physical location and through our social media platforms
