Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Yhang Mhany. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Yhang, appreciate you joining us today. When you were first starting out, did you join a firm or start your own?
When I first started, I decided to create my own platform, Earn More Cash Today. The idea for this came to me when I was still in high school, around 2020. I had always been fascinated by the internet, especially in the IT space, and wanted to find a way to help people navigate it safely.
At that time, I was inspired by content creators like Ameyaw Debrah, Caleb Boxx, and MrBeast, who were making waves online. I admired their success and wanted to achieve something similar. I even reached out to them on Instagram for advice. Caleb Boxx was the first to respond, suggesting I keep watching his videos to grow my YouTube channel. But I soon realized YouTube wasn’t my thing—sitting in front of a camera just didn’t feel right to me.
While MrBeast and Ameyaw Debrah didn’t respond initially, I kept thinking about how I could make a difference in the digital world. That’s when the idea to expose scams and direct people to legitimate money-making websites came to me. I decided to start my own website, which allowed me to focus on something I was passionate about: helping people avoid online fraud. Recently, Ameyaw has been in touch with me, and I’m still hoping MrBeast will respond someday.
Looking back, I’m confident it was the right choice. Those early years were challenging, especially balancing school and building the site, but they shaped me into who I am today. The impact I’ve been able to make, helping people protect themselves online, reassures me that this path was meant for me.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My real name is Kingsley Assefuah, but I’m known by my stage name, Yhang Mhany. The name is pronounced as “Young Money,” and it has an interesting backstory. I first adopted the name during my junior high school years because I was inspired by the American rapper Lil Wayne and his record label, Young Money. When I reached senior high school, the name *Yhang Mhany* came to me out of nowhere, and I really liked it. I realized there was already a knowledge panel for “Young Money,” so I changed my name to avoid confusion with search engines.
One of my earliest dreams was to be found on Google and to get my own knowledge panel, and I’m proud to say I’ve achieved that. It’s a significant accomplishment for me, as it represents recognition for all the hard work I’ve put into building my brand.
As for what I do, I’m a blogger and an online safety advocate. I founded Earn More Cash Today, a platform dedicated to exposing online scams and providing users with legitimate websites where they can safely earn money. The idea for this platform came to me in 2020 when I was still in high school. I’ve always been passionate about technology and finance, and I wanted to use my skills to help others navigate the online world safely.
At Earn More Cash Today, I solve the problem of online fraud by educating people on how to avoid scams and find real opportunities to make money. What sets me apart is my focus on both protection and empowerment; making sure that my readers are equipped with the knowledge to stay safe and succeed online.
What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my audience. Knowing that my work has helped people avoid scams and make informed financial decisions is incredibly rewarding. The main thing I want people to know about Earn More Cash Today is that it’s a reliable resource for anyone looking to make money online without falling victim to fraud. I’m committed to making the digital world a safer place, one blog post at a time.
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
When I first started Earn More Cash Today, I didn’t have a lot of capital, so I had to be strategic with the resources I had. I initially launched the platform on Blogger.com, a free blogging platform owned by Google. For about a year and a half, Google hosted my website at no cost, which allowed me to focus on content without worrying about hosting expenses.
In September 2020, I decided to take the next step and bought the domain name Earn More Cash Today for just a dollar during a promotion by GoDaddy. The regular price was around $12, but I was fortunate to find this deal. I registered the domain on September 16, 2020, and made my first blog post a few days later, on September 21. That post was about a scamming platform called Mineify, which marked the beginning of my journey in exposing online scams.
As I continued to uncover fraudulent platforms, I moved my site from Blogger to WordPress, the most widely used content management system (CMS) on the web. This transition allowed me to have more control over the site’s design and functionality as the platform grew.
One memorable experience was exposing a platform called BitcoinX.ai, which looked very convincing at first. They used tactics like embedding fake figures in user accounts and providing legitimate transaction URLs on the blockchain that weren’t actually theirs. I even referred some people to the site, and while they initially made money, none of us could withdraw our funds in the end. It was a frustrating experience, but it taught me a valuable lesson. At that time, I didn’t have as much knowledge as I do now, so it took me longer to detect the scam. These days, I can often identify fraudulent sites much more quickly by examining a few key details.
Through these experiences, I was able to build Earn More Cash Today from the ground up with minimal initial investment. Starting on a free platform, taking advantage of a low-cost domain deal, and gradually transitioning to a more powerful CMS like WordPress were all part of my strategy. It’s been a learning journey, but those early challenges helped shape the platform into what it is today.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I believe several factors contributed to building my reputation within the online safety and financial empowerment space. The first is consistency. From the beginning, I’ve made it a priority to regularly expose scams and share valuable information with my audience. People have come to trust Earn More Cash Today as a reliable source for uncovering fraudulent platforms, and that trust is something I’ve worked hard to maintain.
Another key factor has been my ability to learn and adapt. When I first started, I didn’t have all the knowledge I needed to identify scams as quickly as I do now. But with every new experience, I’ve gained more expertise. This growth has been noticeable to my audience, and it’s helped to build my credibility. For example, my ability to dissect complex scams like BitcoinX.ai showed my followers that I’m thorough in my research and committed to uncovering the truth.
I’ve also been transparent about my own experiences, both successes and failures. Sharing stories of how I, too, have fallen for scams has helped me connect with my audience on a personal level. They see that I’m not just someone who talks about avoiding scams—I’ve been through it myself, and I’m using those experiences to help others.
Finally, I think my focus on providing actionable advice has set me apart. It’s not enough to just expose scams; I also make sure to guide people toward legitimate ways to make money online. This dual approach—protection and empowerment—has helped solidify my reputation as someone who genuinely cares about my audience’s success.
All these factors combined have helped build my reputation in the market. I’m proud of the trust I’ve earned from my followers and remain dedicated to maintaining that trust through continued learning, transparency, and consistent quality content.
