We were lucky to catch up with Yesdnilco recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Yesdnilco thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. The first dollar your business earns is always special and we’d love to hear how your brand made its first dollar of revenue.

My first client. I was actually walking out of Wawa and I was stop by a young lady who asked about my jacket I was wearing. She asked if I had made it myself I responded yes I did I’m a designer. I began to show explain to her how the process worked. We take your ideas and we turn them into live art. She was ecstatic, she said she had a son and his birthday was coming up and she would love to get him a custom jacket. We exchange numbers and I begin to put together ideas for his custom based off her ideas of what he likes. I explained to her the process but take 2 to 3 weeks that was actually perfect for her. I myself was excited to see my work in action and to actually meet this young man who happy about getting his own jacket. When the Jacket was done I actually delivered it and gave her presentation. I explained everything on the jacket I had drawn. She loved it and so did her son and she actually wanted to put in more orders and tell everybody about the service that she has just experienced. From that moment I knew I had something great so I kept going it was a yes for me. I’ve actually been paid for my work for my own ideas and creativity. From there that’s how it all started. I thought to myself what if I can do this full-time? How can I make this consistent. As I counted the money I just made ideas begin to flow.

What problems does Yesdnilco solve for clients ? Yesdnilco is extremely unique. yesdnilco helps people express themselves through art that tells a story about who they are as well as still likes and interests. Every piece is custom one and then and there are no duplicates. Yesdnilco is for those who appreciate art and find value and their own thought process. What makes us different? It’s easy to see what makes us different. Our unique style our detail presentation the customer experience itself. The thought process of the process. Another thing that makes Yesdnilco unique is that each individual piece has a total of 2 to 5 or more artists give their own ideas into each personalized 1 & none custom. Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.

Yesdnilco is full-time. Reason being is that I see art all around me. I am constantly innovating coming up with new creative ideas. The thing about Yesdnilco is that it’s all forms of art. This allows us to grow in unique ways and Collaborate with with other artists.. Singing,rapping,dancing,sculpting painting sewing and more. Yesdnilco is funded straight from the source the muscle. Key milestones for Yesdnilco is being published over seas. Mutiple publications. Celebrity have worn our customs. Our work has been to the B.E.T. Awards and we are still growing.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

The best source of new clients for Yesdnilco has always been the word of mouth networking personally with each individual and building a personal bond. Most of our clients come from people seeing our crafty one and then customs. People are usually amazed by what they see which causes them to ask questions. Wearing the product itself is most effective.
