Yerrty , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.

The biggest risk that I’ve ever taken is quitting my sales job at Spectrum to pursue music full time. I was already touring prior to my exit from the company, I just so happened to be placed in a compromising position where the job wanted me to prioritize their needs over my own. So I took a stand & rolled the dice on myself. I’ve yet to look back or regret the decision I made.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I’ve been a lover of music my whole life, going back to my early elementary school days. I was granted my first real opportunity to showcase my skills as a writer in 8th grade as I was expected to write a poem about something I loved which was basketball at the time, As far as services, I do offer song writing, show booking, artist development classes & more.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most rewarding part of the journey is the fulfillment of the interaction with complete strangers that have been following your journey. Also these same strangers telling you how much your story resonates with them & creates a positive impact on their life.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Everything that I do musically is not only for my daughter Logyn, but it’s also with her, once she informed me that she wants to make music I shifted my focus to fully coach her into reaching & surpassing her full potential while still staying on the current incline in my career.
