I come from the fashion industry, I made my clothes since very young being trained by my mother who was a tailor .When on modeling, jobs wearing my clothes people told me that I should do a collection …I never wanted to do this because I am against over production and fast fashion with 4 or more collections a year …I love timeless items made in beautiful organic natural fabrics, I never wear anything synthetic a part swim suits :) …, I wear some of my beloved clothes since more than 40 years… But a day in 2017 something happened… on my path arrived the shawls ’s story by a mysterious way…one thing bringing an other here I am in touch with Nepalese artisans, went in Nepal in 2018 to develop a little collection of oversized shawls.

This felt right to me as there are no need to create new collections every year, several times a year .The products are organic, Cashmere, Yak or mix with Silk and  they are timeless.
One of the artisans does the hand / screen printing technic, we use my fine art photography to create these beautiful colorful shawls.

As I could not imagine doing business without giving back to the community where the products come from, the last days of my 2018 trip in Nepal I been in touch with Lila Dhar Bhandari, orphan himself, who founded with his wife a little orphanage in Katmandu and I decided to make donations on each sales of the shawls.

I support them since 2018, I have been very involved during the sanitary crises when the orphanage lost almost all their donators.
The confinement worked very well for me and my sales.

During that time I stopped modeling as I didn’t want to comply to the sanitary rules which sounds not right to me and started live videos of information about well being my way, with my shawls on my shoulders…I hade numerous requests, I sold very well, and by this could really support the needs of the orphanage in this very difficult time for them. By my presence on social media I been kindly approach by one of my followers part of a philanthropic association to help the orphanage to get a very substantial grant. The miracle happened they got a grant of $100 000.

The project is to built their own building as for now they have an heavy rent; the land is bought, the architect made the plans, now they need money to built, if anyone has some idea, welcome :)

For me this is flowing in a natural circle of getting and giving back and it makes me very happy.

I work alone, I combine all what I know to do by myself as, photographer, model, stylist, editor for my social medias to promote my collections, free in my little desert paradise.
