We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Yarimar Valle Andújar . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Yarimar below.
Yarimar , appreciate you joining us today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
As soon my spiritual journey began, everything that defined me as an individual and was a part of me was transformed and continues to evolve. As a mental health therapist and the responsibility that my position requires, it’s for me a priority to cultivate a balance between body mind and spirit in my daily life. I have been involved in traditional therapeutic practices for over seven years and have gradually delved into spiritually based healing modalities. Today I can say with certainty that the field of health in general, including mental health, is in a process of inevitable transition. The inclusion and the essence of the multidimensional human being in its modalities has naturally resurfaced. I am grateful to be part of this collective transformation.
Yarimar , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m still working as a traditional therapist. Looking forward to start my private practice soon and offer diversity on healing modalities.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Unquestionably, success in this type of career is measured by feedback from clients and the families who are impact. I have been blessed to promoted positive change in many lives along the way. The magic ingredient is definitely allowing yourself to be vulnerable, being compassionate, and rejecting the fallacy of demanding perfection. I have seen it in my clients, it is transformative when you create a safe space and offer services from love and acceptance, within this conviction that we are all one..
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
I have always thought that the career chose me, it has been challenging to adapt to the titles and the requirements that the programming of this dimension requires to fit into it and to be able to offer services. I have learned a lot in the process and I continue to evolve, I love what I do and the opportunity to reach so many lives is what motivates me to innovate in this field.
