We were lucky to catch up with Yari Sandoval recently and have shared our conversation below.

Yari, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

My mission is to color the world one head of hair at a time. Hair is my canvas and I am grateful to have a career where I can help women feel gorgeous beautiful and helping them gain self confidence while expressing myself creatively. Building a team who shares the same passion and encouraging artistic freedom.

I am a Licensed Cosmetologist and owner of Yari Hair Studio. I started my career in the beauty industry in 2013 and established Yari Hair Studio in 2017. The art of hairstyling and hair coloring is my love and passion and I dedicate myself to my craft every single day.

Our stylists at Yari Hair studio are master colorists. We pride ourselves in being able to correct anything and formulate any color desired by our clients. We specialize in balayage, color corrections, vivid colors, haircuts and hair extensions. We use only the best quality professional products and hair extensions.

At Yari Hair Studio we make your hair dreams come true. We listen to our client’s needs and educate them on the process and products needed to maintain and repair the hair. We work with all hair types including long dark coarse hair and fine blonde hair.
What sets us apart from others is we deeply care about our relationship with our clients and their hair. We are artists and your hair is our canvas. We are deeply inlove and dedicated to our craft because every person deserves to feel new and beautiful when leaving our salon.

I am most proud of our salon energy and dynamic. We are a group of independent empowered women who help and support eachother and our clients. Having a team of talented artists who share the same love and passion for the hair industry.

Any advice for managing a team?

The best advice I can give for managing a team Is maintain communication and transparency. Encouragement, support and sharing knowledge. We maintain a high morale by allowing full freedom of artistic creativity and self expression.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

The most effective strategy for growing our clientele has been LOVE. Love for your clients and love for your craft. Do it with love or don’t do it at all. Clients will always appreciate when you are open and honest with them and most importantly if you cared about their hair and experience.
