We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Yari Ari. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Yari below.
Hi Yari, thanks for joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
I was formerly known as Ari B The Creator as a graphics designer from 2021-2023, then I decided to pivot to digital marketing and selling digital products for influencers and small businesses. I started to want to branch out to helping others with disabilities, stay at home moms and even college students that have difficulties finding work or consistent work to have the funds to handle their responsibilities. I am currently creating a brand that is about being affordable, providing value and getting access to more products at a affordable price point. In May of 2024, That Digitalz Girl was born and in my first week of relaunch, I was able to get 3 sales from a course I invested in for resell rights & used the knowledge from the course to make those sales. I feel in love with marketing as I git more into it and learned so much so I just want to make a brand that helps women elevate their business and grow a digital footprint by creating passive income.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I have been an entrepreneur for over 10 years & I have done multiple business ventures. I currently plan to bring back my custom jewelry line, Misunderstood Novelty in 2025. I am currently just doing my digital marketing business, That Digitalz Girl & plan to expand on this brand into tech merchandise as I love providing physical products to push a business forward. I started my digital business because after leaving the graphic design space, I still wanted to help other businesses and still be creative & I came upon digital marketing, which I was aware of business marketing and social media marketing but I didnt know digital marketing was its own business. I started to learn more about the psychology of marketing and how it’s so important to create a brand that pushes an agenda or goal that others are also trying to achieve. Im proud of the work ive put into my pivot for the last 3 months, I have made sales ,made connections and had many of leads.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What helped me build my reputation was being able to see that serving is more important than trying to post that sale. I learned that being able to give your time to provide value creates trust and has other willing to buy into you because they can relate to you in someway. I always give out free ebooks on how I do what I do and leave my emails open for anyone who buys from me as much as I can because I knew what it was like to not get help from your peers because they want to gatekeep or they dont want you trying to do better than them when really theres money for everyone, how hard are you willing to work to get to that goal?

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
During my journey as a graphic designer, it was very hard for me because I had to figure out a lot of things as I went to even know where to start. I wasnt sure of what my true place was in the space and finding my style was a lit of trial and error for sure. I dealt with a lot of negativity from my peers & even down to just the clients I had at the time. I lost a lot of confidence in my ability to provide my skills and it be appreciated in ways. I took a hiatus to see if that was something I really wanted because at that point , I had wanted to give up. After almost 6 months, I pivoted and rebrand to my digital marketing career, and everything has been positive since. I am in a more healthier community thats so willing to help and also push me to my full potential.
