We were lucky to catch up with Yanni Profit recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Yanni thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
I started my journey in 2017 and oh what a journey it has been. I am amazed at how far I’ve come, with growth comes wisdom and I feel it is my duty to share it with as many women as I can, especially those healing from toxic relationships.
I share my story with my clients so that they can also own their story and become healed. My power was wrapped within my story and what I have learned is that taking ownership of your story is truly a life changing experience. I have been able to regain my power, rewrite my story, restore my confidence and self-worth. Now I am able to show other women You are so much more than what life has thrown at you. I am more than happy to share my experience with them and help them overcome their past.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m dedicated to helping women own their stories by overcoming their past and becoming Healed Unapologetically after trauma, and toxic relationships. As Founder and CEO of Disciplined Life Chic Coaching. I created my programs and services through real life experiences that I have conquered within my own life. By creating programs based on my own struggles I am able to relate to each one of my clients providing them with a genuine connection, support, hope, encouragement and the tools they need to overcome their past. My clients are able to restore their identity, improve their self-worth and regain their confidence within each session.
I remind my clients that no matter where they have been or what they have gone through their journey to healing matters and to embrace the good, the bad and the ugly. Taking ownership of their story will be a life changing experience. I have been able to help so many women by sharing my story and my journey to becoming unapologetically healed (healing, evolving and restoring) myself. I do this using a Framework program I built called “Trauma Unapologetically”, which takes my clients through several different targeted approaches to start the healing journey. I have been featured on the radio, podcasts and several interviews. I believe that sharing my story has the ability to impact, inspire and uplift women who have experienced similar journeys. Letting them know they are not alone.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Yes! I would definitely choose to be a Trauma Coach. Coaching and helping to heal the unseen wounds in other women and helping them own their story is my “Superpower”.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
I know firsthand exactly what it is like to hit ROCK BOTTOM. I had very dark days where I felt judged, alone and isolated, and when I finally found my way out of it, I decided I wanted to help other women do the same.
Now, I use my light to shine the pathway for others to find their way out of the darkness. I want to stop other women from being lost in the dark as long as I was. It’s my mission to guide them as they heal their wounds of trauma and abuse.
