Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Yana Lev Daw . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Yana, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
I recently collaborated with another artist (Dasha Jamison) to create a meaningful art project Dying/Drying inspired by the current ecological catastrophe happening in Southern Nevada and our neighboring states, particularly, the drying/dying lake, Lake Mead, and the catastrophically low level in the Colorado River. The impacts of this issues are enormous: economic, natural, and governmental. As artists living in the environment, we got our inspiration from it and were not able to be silent about what is happening. Our work involved inspiration from Mother Nature and its feminine energy elaborating on the issue and bringing our artistic perception.
I personally create my paintings with a spiritual meaning , including crystals, natural Mother Nature materials and giving each piece a meaningful affirmation , so my clients will be able to use the art not only for the visual or esthetical joy, but also to find their unique path to the recognition of themselves through my art.
The exhibition main events took place at AlphaVoyage gallery , here in Las Vegas , where i am based now, on Nov 11-13.
As an artist i believe in connection between art, planet and energy. So this project was very inspiring to me in order to gift people my vision of the world and make them think after they see.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Yana Lev Daw ( Channeled Art). I was born in Russia, have an MA in Culture and Arts, experienced working in different areas such as public relations, translations, modeling, acting, painting.
Nowadays i live in the US ,Las Vegas, Nevada and create a Channeled Art with imprinted vibrations. I call my art “intuitional” and i will explain why.
I started to “wake up” and be spiritual at the age of 27. It all started with visions ,dreams, channeling. At the very beginning i was completely lost and it took me years to learn, ground and understand my purpose, mission and System. I am deeply thankful to all of my guides and circumstances, that brought me to the point of self-awareness of my Being, meanwhile i am still learning and discovering every day something new.
I create my art in two ways:
-By personal order -connecting with the civilization / Spirit of my client and channeling the needed codes / vibrations for the exact Human Being.
-As Awakening Talismans , which can be bought by anybody.
I always give a specific meditative affirmations to each of my art pieces , so my clients can connect on a deep level with the meaningful (for them) vibrations while they enjoy my art estheticaly .
Natural materials of our Mother Planet ,that i use in my art, are always chosen only by channeling/vibrations, because every stone/crystal/shell /tree/etc – is alive, has its own character, vibrations and passes unique codes to everyone around it.
I also work with different art materials and by different technics, depending on what the process brings me to. I love to experiment and to learn something new.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I find it breathtaking to see and feel how my art leaves an impact on somebodies life , situation, mood, perception. How the energy that flows through my canvases reaches its destination in somebodies heart and changes the person or just their day. I do provide my living with my art, but no money will ever buy or replace the meaning of unity that the Universe and God is reaching through each of us to share with another. My art is awakening and it gives me goosebumps to see the change it creates.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I believe that there are no “non-creatives”. Period. They just do not exist.
Every Human Being on this planet is creative. Some just still do not remember this fact about themselves. I just happen to remember my creativity and to be able to flow it through my art on others in order for them to wake up, recognize and get a change inside of themselves. Creativity is love.
