We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Yaicha Bryan. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Yaicha below.
Yaicha, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
The first time I met with a client under the umbrella of my private coaching practice — outside the confines of the healthcare system — was liberating. For the first time, I had the space to be fully present: to listen deeply, without rushing, without distractions, without the constant pull of emails, messages, and refill requests. At the end of that session, my client told me how profoundly heard she felt. That moment was a turning point.
I realized this was the kind of work I was meant to do — creating a space where women with chronic pelvic pain feel witnessed, understood, and supported. Presence itself becomes part of the healing process, and now I can’t imagine doing this work in any other way

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a Physician Associate, yoga and mindfulness teacher, and chronic pain coach specializing in women’s pelvic pain. Through 1:1 coaching and guided audio and video courses, I help women navigate difficult healthcare decisions and better understand the root causes of their pain. Using evidence-based approaches like Pain Reprocessing Therapy, I guide clients in reshaping their relationship with pain, building nervous system regulation, and cultivating resilience. My work is not just about easing pain — it’s about empowering women to reclaim their lives and thrive.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
Yes, and No! I wouldn’t give up my medical training as a PA, but knowing what I know now, I would have gone to med school to be an MD – as physicians can run their own practices without supervision.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
As a PA in psychiatry, and a yoga teacher/breath coach, I have found my ability to calm my nervous system and regulate myself to be very important in building a business. Tapping into these tools allows me to put setbacks in prospective, and avoid making rash decisions.
