Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Xolah Gebor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Xolah , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with education – we’d love to hear your thoughts about how we can better prepare students for a more fulfilling life and career.
I would change how the arts is viewed and normalize being a creative, instead of allowing the notion of being artsy as a weak, struggling option to survive in .

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Geborah ( Xolah Gebor), I discovered I was a creative at age 4. I explored painting, drawing, photography, poetry/essay writing, dance and fashion design & style in my youth.
It wasn’t til 2010 in Ohio I discovered how I could combine them all through Inclusion Magazine. Working as an Editor in Chief and Creative Director made me feel complete and alive. I currently provide a platform online for professionals in Health/ Wellness, Art + Fashion and work Interior Design p/t. My plan is to return to print soon because the physical book is very satisfying.
What sets me apart from others is my style + the willingness to get hands on with my content that I produce. As a creative and professional I love the process, whether it’s an upcoming fashion show, a model I’m interested in working with or a story I want to write about, I enjoy the experience.
I am very proud of my growth and open-minded attitude. As a creative I don’t feel like the “Sponge Effect” of my mind is closed. I’m very absorbent to expanding and evolving as a Editor in Chief, designer/artist, creative writer & fashion lover. It wasn’t easy growing up not knowing what the purpose of these specific areas of creativity was for and how to use it. I just learned to trust my journey and it’s uniqueness.
I want every reader to know that my brand represents faith and the beauty of life from my point of view.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
During the development and building of Inclusion Magazine I faced direct theft of property, individuals sending hate mail & my ex-husband with-holding the external hard drive from me to prevent consistency of the brand I created. I honestly was facing strong spiritual and mental attacks but I continued to believe in myself and how I was designed by God. I had to remember that I was unique, a published writer and contest winner before those things happened.
I truly love every aspect of what I could do creatively and opportunities would always find their way to me.
Those hardships taught me more about people, my ability to evolve, and be more fluid to changes.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My faith in God & trusting how I was designed drives the continuous mission to thrive as a creative and uplift other talents (giving them their flowers while they’re alive).
