We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Xavius (zave) Robinson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Xavius (Zave) below.
Xavius (Zave), looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
As Founder of the GreaterLove Foundation, our mission is simple “Show the world, a Greater Love!” My parents, grandparents, and extended family have always exemplified love. My mother is an educator of more than 20 years, my father has been a father figure to many in his extended family and community. My grandparents who played an active role in my upbringing have been active in their church and the lives of their families for decades. Love has always been a verb in my life, it is who I have been raised to be.
Growing I would volunteer with paternal grandmother at her job (Women and Children’s Day Shelter), in school I would actively seek out leadership roles that allowed my peers and I to make a difference. I would eventually be selected for the very prestigious leadership organization C5 Georgia, which would help me tap into my inner abilities as a leader.
I remember being 20 years old, heading home from work and I saw a vision of me in the heart of the City of Atlanta passing out food to the less fortunate. At the time, it was only a vision. I remember sharing it with my bestfriend Charsie and together we came up with the idea to make sandwhiches, and bag them up with chips and juices and little debbie cakes to take to the homeless.
There were a few of us who gathered at my home church, making sandwhiches/lunch bags. We jumped in the truck and we were off to accomplish our mission. I will never forget, the very first person we met his name was Reggie. We pulled up, handed him a brown bag and he began to cry. He said nobody had ever taken the time to give him food. He explained that life had just been really hard and that his family walked away from him. That’s what led him to being homeless.
Instantly moved by our very first interaction, we started pulling out our phones taking pictures and Reggie quickly backed away. Stating he didn’t feel adequate enough to take a picture. Jumping out of the truck, running to embrace him, we asked if he would allow us to take a picture with him so that he didn’t feel alone. To which, he obliged.
This very small idea, which turned into a little family/group project would soon become to spark that would light an everlasting flame.

Xavius (Zave), before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Xavius Robinson a proud native of Atlanta, GA. I’ve lived in Atlanta all of my life (and I love this city with all of my heart). I am the oldest child of both parents mother Mrs. Valerie Scott (Jonthan) and father Mr. William Cloud II (Charletta). I have six biological siblings Samuel, Davante, William III, Valerie, Winifred and Winter. My siblings are my world, life would be flavorless without them.
I am the Southern Gentleman who grew up in the church (thank you Nana and Pop) and also spent valuable time volunteering with my grandmother (Grandma Cloud) at the Atlanta Women and Children’s Day Shelter. I am a family man at my core, the memories I’ve shared with my cousin Kelsie, Rachel, and Vivica. Having older male cousins who have always set the best example like David, Christian, and Levi.
I proudly work for the Fulton County Schools System, as a Specialist helping to curate engaging community events that bridge the gap between classroom and community using the a STEM based curriculum. I am honored to do this work for the same school system that I matriculated and graduated from.
I work part-time for Tri-Cities Funeral Home (Lithonia, GA), under the tutelage of Mayor Shameka Reynolds (City of Lithonia), respectively. I am a minister of the Gospel, but more over a child of God.
I am most proud of being the visionary and CEO of the Greater Love Foundation a 501(c)3 non-profit organization who to date, have served more than a 1,000 people through our community feedings, back to school drives, and financial resources. I am committed to seeing GreaterLove provide support to every generation and showing the world a greater love!
Any advice for managing a team?
The greatest advice I can give is set the tone and the people will follow. Before any meeting, event, or strategic planning I enter into the space with enthusiasm and excitement. The people you lead aren’t just following your vision, they are encapsulated by your energy too. What you put out will spread amongst them.
Part of the reason I named the foundation GreaterLove, is so that anyone who partners with us, volunteers with you us, or is served by us will know that our overarching mission – is to show GreaterLove!
