Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Xavier Thomas. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Xavier, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
The concept for MiracleArts came from the struggles my sister and I faced while trying to break into our creative fields. We both grew up balancing athletics and the arts, and what really stood out was how different the support systems were. In sports, we had everything coaches, funding and multiple pathways. But when it came to our creative passions, that structure just wasn’t there.
That gap really stuck with me, and it’s why I started MiracleArts. I wanted to build something that could support young creatives, especially Gen Z and Gen Alpha, in a way that felt accessible and empowering. Each part of MiracleArts is meant to solve a specific problem creatives face. For example, if someone doesn’t know where to find local opportunities, we have the MiracleArts Resource Guide, a statewide database of arts organizations. If they need career guidance, they can turn to MiracleMakers, our mentorship program. And to help them gain exposure, we host public events and community projects that showcase their work.
It’s really about building the kind of support system we wish we had when we were starting out.

Xavier, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m Xavier Thomas an Minneapolis based Creative (Film) I have recently graduated from Minnesota State University -Manakto with a B.A in Business Management. Here is where I launched my art education non profit MiracleArts, ordinally helping the creatives on campus. Our mission is to prepare emerging creatives by nurturing career development and supporting their local initiatives. Our resources include: MiracleArt Resource Guide, MiracleMakers (Mentorship) program and local events/projects

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What’s helped me build my reputation in this space is staying authentic and being open about learning as I go. I’ve never claimed to have all the answers but I do lead with intention, passion, and honesty. As a creative myself, I understand how vulnerable this journey can be, and I think people resonate with the fact that I’m not creating from the outside looking in I’m in it with them. People have seen the evolution of MiracleArts in real time, and I think that transparency has made the brand feel human and grounded.
Ultimately, my reputation comes from being rooted in purpose. I care deeply about making sure creatives, especially those who are often overlooked, have a place to grow. It’s not about being perfect t’s about being real, showing up, and continuously creating space for others to thrive.

If you have multiple revenue streams in your business, would you mind opening up about what those streams are and how they fit together?
Yes, MiracleArts operates with multiple complementary revenue streams that support both our mission and long-term sustainability.
