Xavier , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My mission for XRELITE is very simple. It is to provide the information and techniques to not only have a healthy body, and to And challenge each person’s mental. Mentality correlates in all realms of life; the gym and discipline a the kitchen table can magnify your strength and definitely your weaknesses. The day in and day out grind to reach and maintain a goal and to know I assisted with that definitely with my afro community fills my heart. I am here to teaching to pour my knowledge into others without holding back. I want everyone to be ELITE in all aspects and this where it starts!!!
Xavier , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Well, my name is Xavier Rush, 30 years of age and from Jackson, MS. I was a 3 sport(basketball, baseball, and football ) athlete in high school through a variety of obstacles I was granted an athletic scholarship to play football at Tulane University. I also ran track for 2 years. While at Tulane I was obsessed with just improvement. My mind, my body, my academics, the way I communicated I just had an obsession with being the best. My senior year I was leading th e Country in yards per catching the FBS, scouts were interested, my draft stock rising and the 6th game of the season I tear my ACL. Collegiate was over on October 29th! I asked my PT could I make it back for pro day, he said” if you work your a*s off you have a chance!” That’s exactly what I did. Graduating with neuroscience degree I decided to skip my pursue of medical school to rehab and chase my NFL dream! Made it back four in a half months later participated in my pro day, didn’t get picked up to a year later by the Philadelphia Eagles. I reached my childhood dream being on an NFL team. I also played for New Orleans Saints, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Saskatchewan Rough Riders, and the Memphis Express. I retired in 2020. This journey injected a plethora of knowledge into me when it comes to different various of fitness, recovery, nutrition , mental fortitude , and more. Like I said before I am obsessed with being great so I really indulged in these various topics and learned as much as I could and I am still learning. with obtaining this knowledge and my unique ability to construct workouts for particular body types and results. Blend that with my passion to assist and teach people it is a no brainer why I created XRELITE LLC. XRELITE a brand of my faces but we initially promote health and wellness; which consist of personal training, small groups, classes, and also athletic skill and strengthen training. These are available for all ages !XRELITE also has its hands in the fashion and health product world! On July 7th 2023 XRELITE we hosted the XRELITE Cultural XPO at New Orleans Jazz Market in New Orleans, LA. This event will have vendors, models, designers, and variety of Arts performances ! You can so you don’t want to miss the next one! Lastly, one of my greatest accomplishments was helping a client not only lose nearly 200 pounds but it was also getting then removed from their diabetic pills, insulin shots ,and high blood pressure medicine. The way this individual maneuver through life now is a total 360. Just helping individuals surpass their goal and do things they didn’t think they could do again makes my heart smile. My journey, my experience has molded me to be the best at being a server to my community when it comes to health.

Do you have any stories of times when you almost missed payroll or any other near death experiences for your business?
I feel like everyone that is successful or becoming successful hits a moment of damn that was close. For me, I was driving in a silver Bug to go pick up my then girlfriend from basically a new teachers camp. This was right after my pro day so my knee was still not 100%. So I’m leaving this gas station the last stretch to pick her up and I decide to pass this truck on a 2 lane high road. As I am passing him he decides to come over in my lane. As I attempt to. avoid him I hit gravel, lose control of my car ,hit the big drainage pipe in a ditch ,and flip 7 times! Oh I forgot to say my dumbass didn’t have a seatbelt on either . So, after the care stopped rolling I open my eyes looked around and touched myself to make sure I was okey then I hop out the car, flip the car over (because I didn’t want it to explode with my girlfriend belonging in there . SO then I step back and see that my white t shirt is clean, toe out shoes are attached with nothing wrong with my feet and my knee unbothered was a miracle and a sign! the only damage I had was a medium size scratch on my arm. That day the Most high showed me I am on this earth for a reason. I have a mission and it wasn’t complete yet ! This is why I have a positive carefree attitude but simultaneously work so hard because that day could have been my last 8 years ago! Do not take a day, a hour or a minute for granted because it is not promised!!
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I feel in any market NETWORKING is the best reputation builder. All individuals, definitely if you are an entrepreneur should be actively networking. Networking isn’t about being fake and just politicing it is about wholeheartedly having conversation about life, your craft, hobbies, career, business, current events, sports etc and that’s how most ALL relationship outside of business transpire its not to much different. You must then continue to build a good name by: being a person of our word, produce a great product or service, easy to communicate with but also respect, and willing to listen not only colleagues feedback and critique but also customers. Your network consist of your business partners, customers, colleagues, friends, family ,etc so you want to handle yourself at the highest and most genuine magnitude at all time to build a solidified network!
