Xavier, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

My most meaningful project is one that has yet to be created. It is between two albums I have in the works. My first and last album. The first “Cherish Before Gone” is the story about processing grief and lost; and the last “Jones” is about family and journey that my art has taken me on.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My brand is family centered showing the importance and beauty of community, unity, youth, gospel, scripture, And a passion for God and teaching others of what it means to apply his word to your life. I made Jesus Lord of my life at the age of 15 and my music takes you on the journey of a young disciple becoming the Lord’s prophet.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Besides the basics of wanting to supply the needs for my current and future family; I have a passion for spreading the word of God through music.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

There are many small victories from recording in the studio to preforming on stage in front of any number of people, but I feel the most rewarding is watching your finished product change the lives of its listeners.
