We were lucky to catch up with Xavaire Parker recently and have shared our conversation below.
Xavaire, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
My most meaningful project I’ve worked on was the beat I made, “Angry Orchard.” This was the song that made me realize that no matter how many times I wanted to quit beat making keep trying. I was at a breaking point where I said to myself that I couldn’t make music at all, I wanted to quit. When I was listening to my favorite artist at the time. I was listening to the drums of one of his songs. I made the beat using those drums. I showed the beat to my closest friends and some family members they said it was amazing. Right then and there I knew that I can actually makes beats

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Xavaire D Parker, and I am a producer from Philadelphia. I started producing music in early January of 2024 and I have been working nonstop ever since.
I produce beats for people to listen to and for people to rap over. What sets me apart is my strive to become better than I was before. The more times I fail at something the more I learn and the better I become. I am mainly proud of the fact that I didn’t double down on myself and kept striving to get better. What I want people to know is that I am a very chill person who makes music daily and loves showing off what I have learned.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding thing is people coming up to me and saying that my work is amazing. To me it’s just another confidence boost because I know that whatever I’m doing/learning is paying off

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
The making of my first SoundCloud song. Angry Orchard to me was my perfect song. I released this song back in may of 2024. It took 5 months of nonstop failing to make this song. Every time I wanted to quit making beats I remind myself that this song was the reason why I can still make beats
