We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Xaria Bloom a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Xaria, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
For folks who may not have read about you before, can you please tell our readers about yourself,
Meet Xaria, Mixed Martial Arts commentator, host, and personality who is also an AAAI/ISMA certified personal trainer and NASM nutritionist certified in culinary and pastry arts by the New School of Cooking(LA).
Her 12+ year experience in commercial print modeling, and acting has helped her seamlessly make the transition from talent to live on camera host. She is passionate about using her platform and unique relationship to the MMA industry as a vehicle to inspire others to step outside their comfort zone and continually challenge limiting beliefs to build confidence, self esteem, and strength from the inside out.
how you got into your industry / business / discipline / craft etc,
My personal battles with low self esteem and disordered eating lead me to fitness, fitness lead me to modeling, modeling lead me to martial arts , martial arts became a vehicle which played a major role in changing my mindset and my entire life.
what type of products/services/creative works you provide,
Personal Training (online and in person)
Nutrition Coaching
Content Creation for Instagram & Tiktok
On camera host and MMA commentator
what problems you solve for your clients
I help people build lasting lifestyle change through mindset, fitness, and nutrition coaching
I started my Instagram Live series “OutsideTheBox” to share the stories of female combat sports athletes. Combat sports and martial arts has had a dramatic impact on my life and I hope that by having these conversations and sharing these fighters stories can inspire others to be brave, step outside their comfort zone, and not let societal pressures keep them from living their passion and being themselves.
what you think sets you apart from others.
I have a unique training background and relationship to the martial arts community which I hope can help bridge a gap and remove stigma which is often associated with MMA to get more women and people in general to train in some form of martial arts for better mental and physical health.
What are you most proud of and what are the main things you want potential clients/followers/fans to know about you/your brand/your work/ etc
I am most proud of how far I have come mentally and emotionally. I am proud of my scars and have no reservations in sharing my struggles because I know by sharing my truth I can begin to help and inspire others to live theirs.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Not caring about what anyone else thinks and staying true to your vision and purpose.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Yes I would. All of my mistakes led me here now. I always knew I wanted to help people and being able to make a positive impact on someone’s life whether it be from a mental and/or physical aspect gives me purpose.
