WxLF , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Day to day the world can seem like a tough place, but there’s also so much kindness in the world and we think talking about that kindness helps spread it and make the world a nicer, kinder place. Can you share a story of a time when someone did something really kind for you?

The kindest thing that someone has ever done for me is give me an opportunity to create music and believe in me when no one else did. That would be my family, creative team, management.

WxLF , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is WxLF and I’m a singer and songwriter originating from Los Angeles, California. I’m currently signed to ATU which is a label owned by famed executive/manager Adrian Miller, and super producer Om’Mas Keith. Rnb music is my heart and soul. My goal is to make people FEEL through the melodies, and lyrics I write. My journey has been a long one, but I feel like it’s getting more exciting by the minute with so many opportunities that have come my way.
I have gained attention from my peers in music such as Billy Eilish with my latest singles “When Luv Calls” and “DOA”. I also landed in the top 10 on the social media platform “trillers” ‘hot playlist’, in the number 7 slot with the likes of Cardi B, Glorilla and more.
So many more things to come.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

A lesson that I had to unlearn? I used to think putting in 5 or 10 plus years in music was enough, until you hear other artists stories and you realize that everyone’s timing is different. How long it takes for you to make it in this business is all about ‘divine timing’ and hard work. Resilience is the biggest factor in all of this as well.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

In this music business you will face a lot of lows, non believers, broken promises and a lot of redirected energy causing you to start all over again. Despite all of these things it’s what’s going to make you want to go even harder for yourself. This music industry will surprise you at how strong and resilient you truly are when faced with so many challenges. That’s kind of the upside of it. Getting to know who you really are.
