We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Wrath Starz . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Wrath below.
Wrath , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I always knew I wanted to be in a touring rock n roll band since I was around 11 years old. My dad was a big influence on me musically, always cranking up bands like KISS and Judas Priest. Everyone would always laugh at the idea of being a rockstar as if it wasn’t realistic, even had teachers say choose a “real” career. That always drove me to want to do it even more.

Wrath , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started out my music career on drums when I was a little kid. Way back Me, my brother, and my dad went to a concert to see a band called Dirty Penny. That show opened my eyes and I knew I wanted to be a guitarist. I would practice for hours every day. Shortly after picking up guitar me and my brother formed our current band Once Around. We started picking up some steam and would play shows opening for national acts after a school day haha. Ever since then we have not stopped and we are still on the long road to the top. Something I’d be most proud of is recently I was touring with another band I play with called Wildstreet and I got to open for one of my favorite bands that I look up to over in Europe. Also playing a show in front of a couple thousand people right after graduating high school felt pretty rad.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect for me would be that you just get to express yourself no matter what emotion you have. Nothing gets bottled up. However I am feeling, it gets poured into music and it stamps a part in your life. Also being able to tour and see the whole world while doing what you love at the same time, nothing better.

Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
I think some of the struggles you face early on most people would turn away and veer a different direction. Going Into this kind of career is risky and
Has no guarantees. It feels impossible at times but there is a small reward after every hurdle, you just have to keep moving. You can’t lose if you never give up.
