Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to William Montgomery. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi William, thanks for joining us today. Let’s go back in time to when you were an intern or apprentice – what’s an interesting story you can share from that stage of your career?
When I was in High School a former wrestling coach told me I should wrestle because I look like a champion! He told me to meet him at the gym after school tomorrow and I did. The rest is history and he helped me to become one of the best wrestlers in the entire school, league, sectionals, District Champ and 3rd in the State of Ohio at 112 pounds. It really helped me find myself being a small little boy with 4 sisters and no brother this sport helped shape me. So glad someone recruited me and mentored me through all 4 years, and we are still friends today. Because of this I’m helping others and focus mostly on High School students 9 to 12th grades. I have been into Bikes, Cars & sports for years learning lessons along the way. Now working closely with NASA because of a famous family member Katherine Johnson who I admire and Love. Doing Good is our calling and we need to mentor the Youth for the Future. Godspeed, CSI (Common Sense Intelligence) Bill Montgomery
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I worked for many companies in the past and learned a lot what to do right and wrong by others. I also went into the Army at a young age (18) jumping out of Airplanes and learned the basics and respect for others. The outside world is different, and it pushed me to start and run my own business. I still work for UPS for the benefits they are great and it’s a good company I’m happy with. I never thought growing up that I would be a schoolteacher but now I’m glad it’s me. It’s a good career and self-satisfying to help kids. Having the basic electronic knowledge and people skills sets me apart from others and keeps me in the know. Working with High school students keeps you on your game and current with the trends. I want the world to know what we need to do and why today for TRANSPORTATION & TECHNOLOGY. My Dream is that one day all the boys & girls will be able to take a Transportation & Technology Lab/Shop class in high school. I want to give a shout out to my Mentor Jim Jordan who is a Motorsports Marketing Director and gave me a break and contract when he worked for Mazda USA. We had fun and helped a lot of people while making the company great money in return. Prime Motivation a nonprofit organization is another company that has inspired me to push forward and help more High school students get involved with cars. The CEO & Founder Ed Arguelles had a vision and I’m following it. He is a really good guy and I like what I’m doing for the Students & Teachers in America.

We need to change the Culture & Image about cars that can earn our students & teachers good money to raise a family.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
After learning how to become a manager while working for a retail giant Circuit City it helped me grow and learn about business and politics at the same time! I became a schoolteacher and used my knowledge about working on cars as I stereo Installer for 10 years. Teaching this trade has not been easy but now I’m able to combine my resources and Team of Hidden Pioneers like me to keep going. I’m excited about the future and know that God has a plan for me to help others while helping myself and my family. Blessings with Godspeed, CSI Bill Montgomery
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
