Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to William Lowe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

William, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

The story behind my mission requires a specific level of understanding. Many are opposed to how I operate in ministry as I operate in business in a similar way. My story is about helping people find their identity in Jesus Christ by meeting them in familiar environments, in familiar situations. I basically meet people where they are & love them beyond anything they can imagine. I don’t come to paint a canvas nor build a platform to get others to understand me, no, I place myself into a position to give them an ear that will hear their crying voices & that will understand them by allowing the Spirit of the Living God speak through me to them in the areas He wants to meet & restore them. The story wasn’t always this way though. I went through some very rough times & patches in my own life in a similar way but the only difference is people refused to meet me where I was, so I had to go to Christ myself. I abandoned & forsook everything & everybody that I knew was leading me & keeping me down a dark road, even if it meant no longer being connected to them for the sake of my own soul & peace in Christ Jesus. So after I had my very own encounter with Him, my mission is to present to the people exactly what was given unto me by The Lord during a time I needed Him most.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I was immediately born into a warfare for my life. I was born premature, barely hanging on, was told I died 2 days later but with the intercession of a praying grandmother God used her to speak life into my lifeless little premature body. Further in life, I would experience abandonment by family & friends that would cause me to reciprocate those very actions in a portrayal of a protective bubble to avoid having to deal with others. I later found out through a Prophet of God that those very areas where I was shielding myself from are the same areas God wants to use but I wouldn’t let Him. I fought against it for a very long time. I ended up getting into trouble with the law many times in life, even to the point where I was about to face attempted murder charges. I had no lawyer, no defense, & every single odd was stacked against me. I prayed the hardest prayer before entering court. I walked out with just 4 years of supervised probation & another chance at a free life. It took a while for me to straighten out because I went back to the dangerous lifestyle again. Upon witnessing my own children being born, it changed me. I now had these innocent little mini-me’s to look after. Fast forwarding, I am now married (13 years) with 4 children. God led me through isolation before bringing me to where I am today as a Lead Pastor, Author, & Entrepreneur. Yes, I wanted to abandon the isolation season & there were times when I wouldn’t sit still to listen to the Lord. But He always has a way to get our attention to remind us of our mission. As a Pastor, I felt led to speak to people who deal with these very issues in life as I have dealt with. And the more I grow in Christ, the more I am able to help others even with situations I’ve never dealt with in my own personal life. I truly believe the wisdom of the Lord helps me in these cases. There has yet to be a situation I haven’t heard that the Lord hasn’t used me to help. This road isn’t easy. As a matter of fact, when you follow Christ Jesus we are reminded how much the world hates us even more & that we should count it all joy because we have something within us the world needs but refuse to repent unto the Lord to receive it.
I think what sets me apart from others is that I tend to teach & preach the exact truth without compromising or tolerating the ways of others & world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I give it raw, uncut, & unadulterated but in a way that helps us grow with Jesus & get closer to God. It helps break generational curses, chains, & bondages that the world uses to tell us its how we live freely when the world’s freedom is set to condemn us instead of help us. There is true freedom in Christ Jesus, not with what the world says.
The thing I honor most about what I do is seeing others give themselves completely to Jesus Christ & able to see them live a life of Holiness & Righteousness without compromising or believing that God would undermine Himself or His Word just so humans can live how they want in the flesh & believe that God is ok with the sins of it. It’s one of the greatest tricks of the enemy.
What I want others to know is there is true freedom in Jesus. Try Him…COMPLETELY. Drinking heavily & knowing Him is not establishing a relationship with Him. Smoking, having sex, homosexuality, celebrating prideful things, crystals, zodiac, etc….all of these things are set to keep you bound into believing you need them to sustain in life. Even believing you are your own god can have detrimental effects. But there is freedom is Jesus that breaks these things off of you to live a life of Holiness.
Being Founder & Lead Pastor of Harvester’s Ground Ministries, we want everyone to know that this is “The Place Where Teachers Come To Learn, & Students Come To Teach.” It is a place of humility, growth, understanding, but most importantly the Love of God without compromise & toleration.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

There are many lessons I’ve had to unlearn in life but the greatest of these are the lessons of religion. It is used as a law to bound & condemn. There is something that exist to oppose religion, however. After unlearned religion, God revealed to me His Truth & that truth is about becoming Kingdom minded, not religious minded. There is a big difference. When your under religion, you’re under law; A set of standards used to create a foundation that has no possible way to stand. When you’re Kingdom, you become a citizen to the Heavenly kingdom of God; an heir to the kingdom with Jesus Christ, to behold Him in all Glory & with all Honor as you share an eternity with Him. Become Kingdom today with me by making that decision to give your lives unto Him this day. It’s not about what others have to say about your decision. Instead, let Him speak to your heart.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I’ve resisted the Gospel of Jesus Christ for a long time. Every time I went back to a life in the streets, God always met me. Every time I decided to make a decision He was not pleased with, He always had a way of responding to remind me of who I am in Him. There was always something within me telling me “this isn’t right”, “I shouldn’t be doing this”, or “I shouldn’t be involved with that”. All along, it was revealed that the Spirit of God will speak to you in a way that the world will never understand but have all types of logics & reasoning. Some call it conscience, others call it intuition. I call it experience because it happened more often than not.
