We were lucky to catch up with William “Lil Jiggy” King recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi William “Lil Jiggy”, thanks for joining us today. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?

My Happiness komes from the lil things in Life. I Cherish every moment as my last! So I would say I’m more happy being creative because I live life like it’s no tomorrow. I still fase problems and every day and I wake up and tell my self that GOD Wants me to make a Change. If I don’t do it Who Will? I get up and go to work everyday. I work a regular job, Make musik, Take Kare of my daughter and, I do my lit thing on the side. My mom used to make me walk to work every time we get into an argument and take the keys to the whip! Any type weather, Money ain’t everything but it will get ur mind on a Stable track you kno? That’s a Good question I ain’t know how to answer for real but, I speak from my heart.

William “Lil Jiggy”, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m Lil JiggyK5 From Warren, Ohio. I only really make “Just Vibe” Musik. I be out the way trynna support my family and just trynna put my peoples on fr. Remind you I love to listen to Arethra Franklin, Michael Jackson, n The 80s musik when I was growing up so I always been konsidered an “Old Soul”. My Brothers started rapping and they put me on a Song N shii so, I was like ok ion really rap so lemme c if I kan mix it up a lil n from there. I been on a mission! I Wanna Change the Youth n but also let people know don’t Lose sight of the bigger picture in life. I got brothers dying or getting loxked up and I’m out the way now so I kaint do nothing but, I kan inspire Change To My Kid’s, Kid’s Generation! That’s how I’m different I c a Bigger picture to dis shii man. They gone Know Soon Enough. What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Honestly, It’s either Your a Fan or a Supporter when it komes to society as an audience. Fans are people who switch on and off. They the ones that may like ur music one day and hate on you the next. They the ones that show fake love who ain’t been there thru the struggle. A Supporter is the ones Who seen it all n been thru sum shii w u. They the ones that be really relating and hearing what u saying. I interact with my fans n ask how I kan make great quality sounding musik that will last and being meaningful. They honest with me and that’s another Reason I’m where I’m at today! I’m still making it thru a Struggle each day with society n musik. It almost makes u want to quit BUT, Ik I kaint!

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.

I Put all My Struggles n Paint in My musik and content but I try to Sauxe it up a lil so it’s not just the same musik that everyone else be making. What I do I want people to Just Vibe n Feel what I’m saying. Like I said before it’s a bigger picture that needs painted n Imma b the one to remind em’
