We caught up with the brilliant and insightful William Jennette, Jr a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
William , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Is there a heartwarming story from your career that you look back on?
Being in the fitness, Health and wellness field can be very rewarding and Have heartwarming stories.
The most heartwarming story that I have at the moment is helping a pear of mine with their health fitness and wellness journey.
My peer who became a client Was diagnosed with diabetes, and hypertension. He is only a year older than me and weighs less. He was taking six pills per day, and was on the verge of serious health issues.
He came to me for help and assistance and trusted the process. Within three months Of training with me, he went back To the doctors and they said his blood pressure and diabetes went down significantly To where they only put him on three pills.
Within another five months, he had a check in doctors appointment and they removed him from all medication.
This is a very heartwarming story that will always stick with me. Not only did he changed his life for the better, he was expected to have a child at this moment to. He expressed that I helped save his life and be a long-term parent and his child’s life.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
If I could go back, I would definitely choose the same profession over again. It’s always been my passion to help others.
My professional and career has just got started. My overall goal is to have a camp for individuals with disabilities. This will provide different types of therapy, such as Hippotherapy (horseback therapy), hydrotherapy(swimming), nature therapy( hiking), and other beneficial therapy methods That will help improve the quality of life.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Other than training and knowledge, I think the most helpful thing to have for growing successful business is passion, discipline, Motivation, And willing to be uncomfortable.
I have known that I want to be in the health and wellness business since I was a preteen. Helping others has always been a drive and passion of mine.
I had to be disciplined enough to study the material to pass the courses and test, And work on my craft.
I was motivated to help the next person and possibly save lives. Motivated to be my own boss and not have anyone tell me that I’m laid off or fired.
I had to learn to be uncomfortable with Getting rejections from potential clients, Losing clients due to financial situations or relocating, Going up to and promoting my business, Or even asking for help when it came to finances.
These are certain things that are required to help your business be successful. I know and understand that I have a lot more potential And growing a more successful business, However, I am happy for where I am now.
