We recently connected with William Deluca and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, William thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

When I was a kid around the age of 5 0r 6. I literally studied music videos growing up. I kept at it until I mastered their routines. Not only dancing but trying to sing their music gave me a better ear for it.

William, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Born and raised in the city of Newark, New Jersey. Growing up I was always drawn to the arts department. My first love was dance so I literally rehearsed in front of the TV all day studying artist, music videos (Michael Jackson, Aaliyah etc…) It was my escape. I also love acting and singing (worship). It became my passion years later though. God created me for the arts. What sets me apart from others is that Im a minister/ youth leader to many people around the world in which I disciple them in the things of the Lord. I gave my life over to Christ back in 2016 at the age of 25 yrs and I haven’t looked back. These last 8 yrs I have been chasing the perfect will of God for my life. There’s nothing like touching the heart of people through the power of the Holy Spirit. Before I got saved I used my gifts for the world but now it’s strictly for the Lord. Before 2016 I didn’t know my true identity but now that I do all I want to see is God move. I love fashion (clothes) as well. It’s truly an extension of my personality. I have to way of putting things together and making it work. I can shop for hrs. It’s a safe haven of mine. In the near future I would love to start my own clothing line, fragrance, arts/ dance company etc.. Im most proud of the fact that I kept saying yes to the Lord because it wasn’t easy. It takes a lot of dying to self so that God can become greater in a person. I have a heavy testimony and a strong message to preach because I was molested in my early teenage years but Jesus saved me. There are many like me out there so my mission is to reach them through my life. That no matter how big their battle is Jesus is greater!!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Being molested as a minor was definitely tough for me. Nobody knew about it for years. I bottled up all these emotions that eventually took a toll on me. The journey of healing started when I completely surrendered to God at the age of 25. I was scared to share what happened to me but God gave me strength. By sharing Ive seen the impact it made on people. All I want to do is help changed lives for the better.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

The goal is to spread the message of Jesus all around the world to those who are hopeless through my ministry vehicle. It’s simple for me. I want to reach as many people as I can. I love what I do!
