We recently connected with William Bauer and have shared our conversation below.

William, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a time you helped a customer really get an amazing result through their work with you.

This is a story close to the hearts of all of us at Valar. We opt to perform pro-bono services on a case-by-case, need-based basis to individuals with incredible stories, who would benefit greatly from an improvement in their skin. Our very first pro-bono case was for a very special friend of a staff member. They experienced a lot of skin-related trauma as a small child and into adolescence that left them with life-long facial disfiguration. Their facial scarring and discoloration was a constant reminder to them of their prior negative experiences, and severely impacted their confidence and self-image. We were able to provide a package of 3 treatments of Co2 laser skin resurfacing for this person, a $2500 value, at no cost to them! After receiving the 3 treatments, the glow of their skin and the glow of their happiness was shining through and they felt like a brand new person. They told us they felt like everyone they met was looking at them differently and they were able to face the world with a new confidence they’d never experienced before. We are so proud and thankful of our small business to be able to provide such a great improvement in their quality of life and how they experience and interact with the world. Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Dr. Bauer is a dual board-certified physician in family medicine as well as aesthetic medicine, and has been practicing for over a decade. He held a particular interest in Dermatology and Plastic Surgery during his training as a physician and in 2022, together with wife, Amanda, his prior medical assistant, Ashley, and a handful of select staff members, Nick and Kelly, Valar Aesthetics was born. We are a full spectrum, physician owned and operated, medical aesthetics clinic. We offer services ranging from injectables such as Botox and filler, to laser skin resurfacing, tattoo and hair removal, skin tightening procedures, permanent acne treatments, and body contouring. Our focus is on education and patient care – we won’t pressure you into purchasing unnecessary procedures and love to provide information on all that we have to offer so each patient is fully informed on all the options the aesthetics world has to offer.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

We try to develop meaningful and trusting relationships with each of our patients. This begins with every staff member being personable, caring, and dedicated to the patient experience. We create partnerships with patients, putting them in charge of their aesthetics plan, but giving them the expertise of Dr. Bauer and all of Valar Aesthetics at their disposal. We like to provide extensive education, fully empowering patients to own their beauty and feel confident in their treatment plan.
