Alright, Wildine thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Has your work ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized?

As a person with dwarfism, I have been misunderstood by people thinking that I can’t do certain things. It is actually not like that. There are certain ways I do certain things that works for me as a person with dwarfism.

Wildine, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Wildine Aumoithe. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I am a third year graphic design college student. I’m also a 2x Guinness World Record Holder. The titles I hold with Guinness World Records are Shortest Model & Shortest Woman Nonmobile. I’m currently the first Haitian-American to hold these titles. I am also a part-time influencer. I have worked with beauty & skincare brands to create content for them. I was born with a rare form of dwarfism called SADDAN Dysplasia. This form of dwarfism stunts my growth to be 2’4,

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I started building my social media presence in 2020. It all started with my YouTube channel “Life Of Wildine”. On my channel i started posting vlogs, Q&A’s, shoe collection videos, and dwarfism awareness. Then after that my YouTube channel took off and today I have 5K+ subscribers. My advice to anyone who wants to build a social media presence is to go for it can change your life. All you need is a phone and light to record content. I have had the privilege to work with different brands.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My main goal driving my creative journey is to show people that you can accomplish anything as long you put the time and effort everything will fall into place. Growing up I didn’t see enough representation in dwarfism community that were in the creative space.
