We were lucky to catch up with Whitney White recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Whitney, thanks for joining us today. One of the toughest things about progressing in your career is that there are almost always unexpected problems that come up – problems that you often can’t read about in advance, can’t prepare for, etc. Have you had such and experience and if so, can you tell us the story of one of those unexpected problems you’ve encountered?
The most unexpected problem for real estate agents is not knowing that daily lead generation is a required activity in order to have a consistent book of business.
Effective relationship building and communication with prospects are the highest money generating activities for a real estate agent to do on a regular schedule.
Another issue agents face is not knowing when and how to do effective lead follow up.
As a newly licensed agent, I did not have the organization skills to operate a productive real estate business. I remember my first system of follow up was scrolling up and down my text messages and recent calls to see who I needed to contact, Needless to say, my business did not flourish as a result.
The answer to mastering daily lead generation and follow up communication can be summed up in one word. Systems.
Systems bring your business a level of automation and organization that is necessary to operate and expand.

My name is Whitney White. I’ve been in the real estate industry as a licensed agent since 2017, and a licensed broker as of 2021. Getting into real estate sales was initially strategic until i began to build a personal brand around my real estate expertise. What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Social media has greatly increased my reach and visibility. By being consistent with content and having a follow up system in place, I am able to see a return on the effort spent and have greater results by keeping leads engaged.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
The One Thing might be one of the most compelling and straight forward books about the power of focusing on one goal. It has made a great impact on how I structure my day and organize my business.
