Hi Wesley, thanks for joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
i was in the automotive industry for over 40 years, worked in almost every department from Parts to service and sales primarily doing finance for the past 30. i found i spent a lot of time with clients ensuring they could afford there new vehicle. i would go over there budget to ensure they would be as successful as possible, some clients i would recommend they wait to buy. we would lose some to other stores but the majority appreciated my approach and as a result we would get more referrals so the majority of my sales team appreciated my style but as the dealer groups took over my style became less welcomed by the upper management. as a result i found it hard to find a home so decided to start a business as a credit coach and then over time swam up stream to help people understand their spending habits and work at changing those. the transformation was incredible. I joined a mastermind group and received more training to help my potential clients and have now completed the certification level as a Money Coach or Financial Wellness Coach i now have clients internationally. As a result of my work i now help more people understand their relationship not just with money but with their spouses, children, parents and themselves and the transformation is amazing, i have had clients tell me the guidance changed their marriage, improved there relationships in all aspects of their life

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
the vast majority of us were never taught Financial Literacy and as a result many are living a life that is controlled by money instead of living a life where they control their money. Divorce rates are soring, bankruptcy and consumer proposal filings are also soring and families are fractured. the number 1 cause credited is money.
If i can help people understand how money flows and why they spend the way they do, help them to define their priorities and uncover their why then i can impact and change lives.

Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?
To get the time needed to build my coaching practice I opened another Business, a fractional Finance Manager
i help Independent used car lots build their business by offering finance to their options for clients to buy a used car,
I use the same ethics and morals that i developed in a franchise to ensure the success of the clients so that they become raving fans and recommend their friends and families to these stores. It allows me the time needed to build the coaching practice and in some cases guide client on their auto purchase journey so they don’t get buried in debt and payments that are not with in their affordability.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
the best source of client this far has been a network of referral partners.
i have been building a power team of quality partners where we share a similar avatar and have the same ethics and morals. that has been my biggest asset
