Alright, Wesley Ann thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We love asking folks what they would do differently if they were starting today – how they would speed up the process, etc. We’d love to hear how you would set everything up if you were to start from step 1 today

If I were to start over today I wouldn’t have gone to college and I would have believed in myself to become a photographer. I always listened to my friends and family telling me that I should go off to college and deep down I knew that’s not what I wanted to do. So really just believing in yourself to get to where you want to be!!

Wesley Ann, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am a wedding and portrait photographer. I capture the raw version of people and it shows through my pictures. I get to take pictures of loved ones that families can keep forever. I think what sets me apart from most photographers is that I am very care free and don’t love the super posed images. I want to show the realest version of people that I can. My brand is very laid back and non traditional. Yes, I will capture that traditional pictures but I will also try to make them as creative as I can.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

Yes I always try to keep up with my past clients and send them emails. This is so my clients know that I am really thankful for them and that I care about there day to day life.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Social media is a tricky thing. I have paid for ads to get my name out and get more people to look at my page. I also try to make my page consistent with my brand and only share photographs that are true to my brand.
