Hi We’re There, thanks for joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

What matters most in achieving success is perseverance and a determination to overcome obstacles. When we started our company in 2019, we went through all the necessary steps, such as obtaining an LLC, networking, and getting business cards. However, just as we were gaining momentum and focusing on projects, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, causing the world to shut down. Despite the challenges, we chose not to give up or succumb to the circumstances. Instead, we remained persistent, maintaining our meetings, making calls, and networking to the best of our abilities.

Through cold outreach efforts, we were able to establish incredible connections, including one with Jai Khanna at Oakhurst Entertainment, who played a significant role in our developmental stages and slate. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible if we had listened to self-doubt or let our fears hold us back. To us, success is rooted in perseverance—the willingness to show up and keep trying, even in the face of adversity.

Today, we have several short films under our belt, with more in the pipeline. Additionally, we are on the verge of entering pre-production for our first multi-million dollar feature film. This progress exemplifies our belief that success comes from unwavering dedication and taking action. By continuously pushing forward, we have overcome setbacks and are steadily moving towards achieving our goals.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Our journey began in 2016 when we crossed paths in an acting class. Over the years, a strong friendship blossomed between us, fueled by our shared passion for acting and a growing frustration with the limited opportunities available to us in the industry. We both possess a natural inclination for creation, writing, and storytelling, so we decided to take matters into our own hands. We wanted to carve our own path, create our own content, and explore the realm of filmmaking. Our goal was not only to expand our own horizons but also to collaborate with other talented individuals, as we thrive in a collaborative environment. Having dedicated years to the development aspect of filmmaking, we have had the privilege of working with remarkable executives who have helped shape us into professional producers. We carry this work ethic and knowledge into every project we undertake.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

We believe in the power of traditional methods such as cold calling and networking, but we have found that our greatest successes come from grassroots approaches. For us, the most fruitful way to connect with clients and collaborators is by immersing ourselves in events, screenings, film festivals, and other gatherings where filmmakers and creatives converge. It is in these environments that we have encountered remarkable individuals whom we have eagerly sought to collaborate with. Our focus is on building genuine connections and establishing meaningful relationships because we firmly believe that people want to work with those they genuinely like.

By actively engaging with the filmmaking community through face-to-face interactions, we have witnessed firsthand the immense value of authentic networking. These encounters have not only enriched our professional network but have also led to fruitful partnerships and collaborations.
