Wenny, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How do you think about vacations as a business owner? Do you take them and if so, how? If you don’t, why not?
Yes, I do take vacations! As a business owner, I keep things going by creating a travel list and taking the time to curate my own travel goals. It can be either a monthly, quarterly, or annual goal to complete a travel goal. My advice that I give to entrepreneurs that can’t step away from their business for a short vacation is to take time to smell the roses and to take time to appreciate the small victories and progress in your business with a staycation or getaway. This can be a solo, group, or with your spouse to rejuvenate and relax. This can help to recharge and revitalize your work projects.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
My journey that illustrates my resilience was in the COVID-19 pandemic. The travel industry was shutdown and cancelled many travel trips. I had to be resistance the following year to continue my travel business and in rebooking flights and hotels. I had to help my customers pivot to other alternative trips and new destinations. It was challenging but I helped many customers complete their travel goals and to make new travel goals as well.
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
My initial capital of my business came from my own savings and help from my family and friends.
