Alright, Wendy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?

my son started doing music and eventually started making clothing named Zia Strong Entertainment and Zia Strong Clothing . his stage name Zia Baby :) my son made this happen so in honor of him and appreciation we continued with the name. And as it represents New Mexico . a place we love , and strong in all we do to make our dreams come true

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

my son talked to us me as being disabled and his father to get us out the house and do more to get more healthy and something his dad loves to do cook . His dad is a big time bbq guy always grilling for family functions or just for our little family . . So he bought a lil camper trailer that had griddle sinks ect in it and helped us get it together to start mobile food bussiness. one reason he decided this is beacuse he loves taco stands ,and loves his dads cooking and tacos . So he figured why not go and share his dads delisous tacos with people . The name of our truck came from his name Zia Strong , because he helped us to prosper and become what we are today , we decided to add on his legacy name to our food truck . And when his kids are grown they can countinue the food truck bussiness and hopefully one day have a brick and mortar. sos with us starting this and getting our name reconized we are in hopes the grandkids will continue and prosper even more with the food business . but thats how we came to our food truck name in honor of our son who cares so much for our health , and his family

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

As i mentioned before my son purchased the food trailer for us with certian things in it. But it did need more to be aproved and to make the delisous food we wanted to serve our customers . So i, wendy as being disabled was able to connect with DVR and they helped me finish the project buy getting me a investor from the state of NM to help me purchase all other equiptment needed to become successful .

How’d you think through whether to sell directly on your own site or through a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc.

we sell on site as we book events ect, reason is we are a mobile food truck and prepare our food freshly cooked on site and served made to order
