What I felt my parents did right was their courageous decision to leave their home country, Vietnam, and immigrate to the United States, all in pursuit of providing us with a better life. Hey there, I’m Wendy, the driving force behind Boss Beauty Boutique. Picture this: one sister, seven brothers, amazing parents, and a whole lot of adventure. Yep, that’s my background. I’m not just celebrating 23 years of wedded bliss and being a mom to three incredible grown kids—I’m also celebrating the unique path I’ve taken, all starting in my teens.

High school? Nah, not my scene. I marched to my own beat, and my parents were the ones who pushed me to pursue a trade. I mean, who needs a traditional classroom when you can explore a different route, right?

Now, let’s dive into my journey. It all began in the world of manicuring when I was just 17, starting a path that would consume a solid decade of my life. My adventure kicked off at a nail shop, and by the time I turned 19, I was already immersing myself in the art of waxing eyebrows. Fast forward 25 years, and believe me, it’s been one heck of a ride.

Around 2015, Microblading waltzed into my life, and I was absolutely captivated. Who knew eyebrow tattooing could be so fascinating? That’s when my specialization journey began. I started offering everything from eyelash lifts and brow waxing to threading, lamination, henna tint, and various tattoo techniques. But let’s be real—eyebrows are my jam. They’re not just facial features; they’re boosters of confidence and generators of happiness.

Oh, and did I mention? I’ve dipped my feet in eyelash extensions, special occasion hair, and makeup. I like to keep things interesting!

My passion? It’s all about creating authentic beauty that speaks volumes. Dedication, determination, and a love for my craft define me. Turning into an entrepreneur gave me the power to tailor services to match my clients’ dreams.

What makes me stand out? It’s the combo of perfection-seeking and a whole lotta love for what I do. I give it my all every single time. And when I see clients walk out with a new glow and a genuine grin, well, that’s the real magic.

So, summing it up: my journey is like a rollercoaster of growth, passion, and chasing what makes my heart race. As a licensed esthetician, I’ve leveled up my skills. Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Absolutely, my goal is to expand and create a haven for fellow artist/professionals to work and feel excited and comfortable in the space. I’m also eager to offer mentoring and workshops for aspiring professionals, passing down my craft and expertise to the next generation. On top of that, I want anyone who walks into my space to feel at ease and reassured, knowing that they’re in capable hands.
