We were lucky to catch up with Warren Wechter recently and have shared our conversation below.
Warren, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My mission for my company is to bring different views and vantages to the people I service. That can range from someone selling their house or property to getting a everlasting shot of family land to last generations like I am lucky to have of our family farm. Photography for Real Estate is important to me because I am looking for a home and with buying house I feel it is nicer to see the home and property in its entirety. I want to give the buyer/seller every opportunity to give off the best views of their home or see all that they could be purchasing.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I started Wechter Aerial Solutions out of my love for Drones. I bought my first drone when I was 18, which is when had access to adult money for the first time and I have not looked back. The transition to starting a Drone business came 8 years later when I befriended a business man in New York who has a lot of experience in Real Estate. Joe gave me the push I needed to turn my dream into a reality by building my confidence and sharing the need for aerial footage in the Real Estate market no matter where I am. Other facets of my company include Inspection ranging from homes to construction. This idea stemmed from my almost 6 years of Quality Assurance experience throughout the NE region of the US. I see drones being vital in Bridge, High rise, Telecommunications, and many other hard to get to areas that need inspection.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
I met my business partner when I was in NE New York for a bridge construction in 2023. She did not start out as my business partner however. Emily is my beautiful girlfriend and my biggest supporter. She has helped me not only build my company but run it as well. With a background in Human Resources she is adept to being my marketer and website designer. Emily is also a very talented artist that helps me get the best angles and lighting when we are completing photoshoots for our clients. What started with a beautiful boat ride on Saratoga Lake has turned into a inseparable relationship and a cohesive partnership running Wechter Aerial Solutions.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Starting and running Wechter Aerial Solutions has been anything but easy. My day job has me traveling all over the country all the time. Though this is fun and exciting it does come with its struggles for my business. Being away from my home in Ohio it poses a challenge in building those important relationships and gaining a foothold. Since starting my company I have had late nights and long drives I normally would not have to complete photoshoots or editing post footage. They way I keep motivated is not only through the support of my loved ones but the love of what I do. As much as I enjoy my day job my dream of being a drone operator full time helps me push through the long drives, the long hours, and the being away from home. I truly believe if you love what you do you do not work a day in your life and I want that to become a reality for me and my girlfriend Emily.
