We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful WARLOK. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with WARLOK below.
Alright, WARLOK thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
I’m always been a kind of do it yourself type of guy. So when I started making music, I always wanted to own my own record company and be the first artist of the label. I originally wanted to be signed to a big record company. I had offers to be signed by some smaller labels, but the money and obligations in the contracts never seemed to be right, so I decided one day to open my own record company and distribute my music through my company. I figured my percent would be much higher. Plus I was free to do whatever I want to do artistically and not be confined or restricted to put out music. So that’s how Beneath The Dirt Records was born.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a recording Artist & Songwriter that is dedicated to making hip-hop music. I first started battle rapping in high school that’s what opened up the door to start making music. By the time I finished high school I was already recording music trying to make a name for myself in the Miami
hip hop scene.
I think what makes me different from other artists is my versatility I’m able to change my style with whatever sound that I’m working on I could be rapping with different flows and go into singing, or harmonizing as well. That’s definitely what sets me apart from others.
I’m just want the world to know that I have something to say. I hope people except, and embrace my art. That would mean a lot to me.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
I would say Instagram, tiktok, YouTube, Apple playlist, Spotify playlist. That’s where I get most of my followers and also networking with new clients at music shows and events.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
I’ve basically founded my music career and business by using the money from working a 9 to 5 I would use the funds to record at music studios also shot music video, photo shoots. album covers, publicist, website. promoters and etc.
