We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Wade Johnson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Wade , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

To become successful it takes ups and downs to help an individual learn their strengths and weakness. It takes drive and undivided attention to planning and commitment to stay on track and reach goals one has set forth for themselves.

Wade , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Wade Johnson and originally from MN. After moving to SC in 2021 I started digging into becoming a small business owner. I searched through many forums and social media pages before landing on trash bin cleaning. Through the hot summers and the sun baking our trash bins that sit behind our fences and in our garages I thought to myself that this is it. I researched more to find that its actually a large market in the U.S. and that it was growing industry here in Charleston area. I quickly learned that other can cleaners in my area were selling out or quitting so I jumped in knowing it will take time to build. I am in the growth stages of building my company but for only 8 months in we are doing pretty good. What sets me apart from others in my area is that i run equipment that lets me reclaim and filter all my water I use. I have 11 filters on board that clean my waste water and lets me reuse it to get more use per gallon.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Social media ads and word of mouth has defiantly gotten me where I am today and will continue to grow my business.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

constant focus on customer service and communication. It is a very hard world out there these days. We never here the good thing from business but people aren’t afraid to spread the bad! One little mistake or misunderstanding can set you back a long ways if your not careful.
