Vrienda, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

I came up with the idea of starting a tarot card reading business after going through multiple traumatic events back to back that could have almost destroyed me. At that point, I was searching for videos online and I came across a Tarot Reader called water, baby Tarot on YouTube, who described some of the issues that I was going through With 75% accuracy, and I was blown away by her attention to detail and her understanding about Tarot, which made me resonate with her on such a deep psychological level. It allowed me to spiritually understand what was going on with me and how to slowly get out of a situation that could have damaged me badly if I continued being in that situation. This is when I got obsessed with her channel and started watching all her readings about my zodiac sign, and studying how she was interpreting her Tarot cards intuitively. It was beautiful how each and every card was forming an entire story about my life. Every time I watched it. This fascinated me to pursue tarot reading after learning it through watching her videos on YouTube after observing and learning from her for a year, I started my own YouTube channel called VriEvolution Tarot during The Covid outbreak. It’s like she inspired me to take the pain of my life and transmute it to help and heal others. This is how my journey as a tarot card reader began, and currently I have 1000s of loyal clients from all over the world that I help spiritually and psychologically, which also heals me in return.

Vrienda, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am Vrienda Ganguly, I am from Mumbai, India. I am an intuitive psychic tarot card reader, spiritual remedies expert, eclectic witch/sorceress & a singer by profession. When I started out as a Tarot Reader, I had started by offering Tarot readings on my Instagram story for ₹500 only. As I started offering the services, clients started connecting with me on a deeper level because I was able to tap into their subconscious mind to reveal exactly what was going on inside them, and what was going to heal them. Client started reporting that they felt tears rolling from their cheeks while listening to my readings because of how healing they were, and how much they felt. I understood them without really knowing them. My work spoke for itself and due to word of mouth from my clients as well as my YouTube channel, bringing me clients from different parts of the world, my business started growing.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

While going through an extremely traumatic experience, I decided that if I do not take action and keep tolerating the abuse, that I would not want to continue my life. So I decided to register myself for a Vipassana meditation, 10 day retreat. In this 10 day retreat, we are not allowed to make eye contact with the other students. We are meant to meditate for more than 12 hours in a day. We are not allowed to talk to anybody else other than our teachers at the end of our meditation sessions in the evening only once a day. A lot of students gave up in the middle of the course. Some students started vomiting, others could not sit for so long in meditation and gave up. The technique.during this meditation is a technique.by Buddha himself. It is a technique that helps you achieve Moksha and eliminates you from the cycle of death and rebirth by releasing you from the entrapment of your own karma. Since I was already at the worst phase of my life before arriving for the course, I decided that I will not give up no matter how much it hurts to discipline the mind rather than letting it control me like a slave and run my life. It was very difficult to maintain concentration in meditation, as so many thoughts about past and future disturbed me. But I did not give up. I kept following the technique of Buddha and experienced the most profound level of contentment, satisfaction, and happiness. After the course was completed and we were allowed to go home. It is impossible for me to express in words, how I genuinely felt, but this process of purification of the mind through this technique of meditation gifted to us by the Buddha in itself is a process of aligning yourself with the truth above all illusions. It was difficult for me to eat very less in the evening as I was used to having a hearty meal every day, it was tough for me to sit straight during meditations for more than 12 hours a day. It was tough for me to go to bed after I have activated all of the sensations of my body, which was allowing me to see the truth as it is rather than painting it how I want it to be. It has been tough for me to continue the practice after coming back home, but I plan on visiting Vipassana Centre once every year to be able to continue my practice with discipline.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

Since I was growing up, my Father wanted me to become an actress. He wanted me to achieve what he could not achieve for himself. When I was following that path based on wanting to fulfil my father’s dream, I was met with a lot of demeaning behaviour from the professional within the acting industry. They wanted sexual favours in exchange for a role in the movie. This woke me up. It made me realise that I am following my father‘s dream by compromising who I am as a person and what I want to do with my life. I also realise that this Was a blockage created by my own higher self to lead me more deeply into my spiritual practice, so I decided to take my spiritual career even more seriously because I was so drawn to it passionately, and this is when I decided that even though I had done an acting course, paid for it, and had a terrible experience with the professionals within the Bollywood industry, that I would rather chase the truth Through my spiritual careerrather than following the illusions of acting industry As it was more fulfilling to my soul than pretending to be different people who don’t even truly exist. This does not mean that I do not watch movies, but I am more drawn to anime because it has more spiritual significance than any movie I have ever watched. Anime like Dragon Ball z, Naruto, et cetera, are what I prefer watching over Frivolous movies that waste my time, don’t teach me anything and are mostly repetitive.
