Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Vorise Ladet. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Vorise, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s jump right into the heart of things. Outsiders often think businesses or industries have much larger profit margins than they actually do – the reason is that outsiders are often unaware of the biggest challenges to profitability in various industries – what’s the biggest challenge to profitability in your industry?
The competition is very strong. It’s like in the state of Texas everybody has a lawn service. If you look around on a normal summer day you could probably count the number of landscape companies you see daily.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I started this company when I got laid off in 2017. I didn’t know exactly how it would turn out but I knew that it was no turning back and this is something that I really wanted to do. LOL at the time I didn’t have a truck I had a lawn mower and a weed eater, so every day I would borrow my father’s truck work then drop it off. Eventually I think he got frustrated that I kept asking to use his truck he just gave it to me.
When I started doing this Landscaping I found out that I could stick out more if I was more detailed I was watching a lot of landscapers rush through yards. I noticed that people didn’t like that. So I came up with a way to be more productive yet detail. And 5 years later here we are 195 clients later.
I really take pride in what I do and I try to hire people that are good character people and also take pride in what they do. I try to always treat my client’s yard like it was my own.
Green Therapy Landscaping is definitely a company that is growing we are a family company and we love people.
Some of the things I’m most proud of are my blueprints that I have designed for customers backyards and front yards being able to design something and then see it actually come to life. Is a unimaginable feeling.
My goal for the upcoming years is to grow this business more , venture off to doing other things, still doing dealing with Landscaping.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Great customer service and great quality work.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
My most effective way of growing my clientele would have to be word of mouth. A friend tells a friend and so forth. No I do get a lot of emails and hits off the next door app. But most of my clientele comes from a friend of a friend
