We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Voodo Fé. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Voodo below.
Alright, Voodo thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with education – we’d love to hear your thoughts about how we can better prepare students for a more fulfilling life and career
I believe that the removal of art from school is limiting the exercise of the creative brain and limiting the opportunities for a creative child to improve their families economics with their art. My team and I are working on a program that’ll put art back into school and get it protected legislatively called ColorCalm. Our goal is to use data from color and image theory to prove how art and other creative forms affect our stress, learning and self improvement.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m Voodo Fé, I come from the creative worlds of Art, Fashion, Graphics, Music and Brand Creation. My partners and I have a Creative Brand that Creates Brands called VFC.
How you got into your industry?
I caught on early that I was a creative kid and just stayed in that lane.
What type of products/services/creative works you provide?
Original Art, Apparel and Graphics
What problems you solve for your clients?
We know that ‘cool’ is a commodity and have an aesthetic understanding on how to achieve it. The consistency that’s found within all our creations is that it’ll be Different, Defiant and Free, which is our definition of cool.
What you think sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is my unwillingness to be apart of anything. I rarely go to art shows, fashion shows etc… Being able to create without anyones lead and to follow my heart has been a HUGE advantage.
What are you most proud
Turning my life around and becoming the kind of man I can be Proud of.
What are the main things you want potential clients/followers/fans to know about you/your brand/your work?
I’m unapologetically myself. I represent the the Idea and I’m a disrupter who loves to break things.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn doing everything myself. I use to do other peoples jobs and it would be a disaster. And the worst part was that I wasn’t doing my own job. I’ve learnt that the best teams beat the best players and I’ve learnt to deligate or disregard.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
• Zero to One by Peter Thiel, Blake Masters
• The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber
• Good to Great by James C. Collins
