We recently connected with Viviana Flores and have shared our conversation below.
Viviana, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
From personal experience, I think it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Not giving up when things get hard or don’t work out a certain way. Figure out what you can improve on instead of giving up completely. It’s definitely easier said than done, but that’s when you have to find your motivation and your reason for why you’re wanting to be successful.

Viviana, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I began my journey by going to aesthetics school in Irving, Tx back in April 2016. When I graduated months later in November I knew that I didn’t want to freelance right away, I wanted to work at a spa first. But unfortunately I couldn’t seem to find a place to call home and most spas require months if not years of experience. Thankfully I was able to learn how to do eyelash extensions by taking a free course at a lash studio in Dallas but they did not hire me for, what I’m assuming, being too slow at lashing. I then started a job at TitleMax to help with bills and then l would lash from home as soon as I was off work at 7pm on weekdays and then lash pretty much all day on the weekends. My goal was to do this for at least a year but after 3 months of being consistently booked, I knew it was time to go full-time.
I found the perfect salon suite a few miles from home so it was the perfect transition for my current clients. My goal once again, was to stay at this salon suite for at least a year and see where it went. I surprisingly outgrew my little room and decided to open up a store front to have room for more services and staff.
I decided to stay in Lewisville because it was the best area for my current clientele and the rent for store fronts was more in my budget than the surrounding cities.
I signed a lease for 3 years and once my lease was up, I decided that the best move would be to head towards Frisco, Tx.
My husband and I had recently moved to Allen, Tx so Frisco would be a lot closer to me and I had been hearing so many great things about Frisco from a lot of my clients. Many of them ended up moving closer to our new location so it worked out for them and we have also gained so many more new clients since we moved here in July 2021.
I started off by offering eyelash extensions, body contouring, facials, waxing and teeth whitening when I was in Lewisville. But at our new studio in Frisco we offer eyelash extensions, lash lifts, permanent makeup, brow services (wax, tint, brow lamination), waxing, and body contouring.
We will be re-adding facials soon since I have hired a new esthetician who specializes in facials.
I’m pretty proud of myself for being in this business for 5 years now, since I was 21 years old, and not giving up even when times got really hard.
I’ve made it through COVID, huge staff changes and even this inflation we’re currently in. I have no doubt that we’re going to come out of these situations stronger than before and just keep growing!
I want people to know how much pride I take in my work and my business and how much I truly care about all of the people who support us. I’m also a very hands-on boss, anytime I have free time, I’m at the studio being a helping hand to my staff and helping them improve and perfect their craft.
I want to change the way people view big name lash studio companies and show people that we are way more than just a lash & brow studio..
We want people to come in and feel at home or like they’re at a friends house hanging out! That’s the best part of our job, the relationships we build with all of our clients.
It’s one of the main reasons why I was able to grow my business into what it is today.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Word of mouth helped me in the beginning and continues to help me to this day. Making sure that my work is exceptional and I use the best product has been a consistent goal of mine. As well as giving great customer service!

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
The best sources for us have been through Instagram and text! We also have our phone number on Instagram and the contact option on our page allows them to text us. It really allows us to have even better communication with our clients.
