We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Visionary Designer a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Visionary, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you manage your own social media?
My account is 100% managed by me. Im in college most days as I’m 17 years old but it’s managed by me in my free time. I do it myself as I know how I want my social media to be and I like it to look organised and neat which is why I do a quote, an art piece and then a quote to create a checkers design.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My business is made up of designing portraits which include faced, faceless and also shaded versions of absolutely anything. I design people and also animals. But if you have a task I’m always open to the challenger. I also design logos for business and also drawing logos which are a combination of a portrait and a logo. I started digitally drawing in December of 2021 and started this account at the end of May 2022. I wanted to do this account to experiment with drawing and develop my skills. I do it all completely free as I also like to help small businesses and people in the cost of living crisis.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I post as much as I can using all the hashtags I can do that it reaches as many people as it possibly can. I also message people asking if they’d like a logo or portrait for free so it reaches out to many different people who may have not seen my account and this has been successful as I’ve even drawn for people with 1 million followers due to this. A third thing is that people share my art on their stories and tag me which has been so helpful as a lot of their friends message me asking about it.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Since the start I’ve tried to work with the customer to ensure we get 100% what they wanted and I ask many questions to ensure I understand them and once I have the final product I always tell them they can change absolutely anything. I feel like this helped build a good reputation as I always put customers first and listen to them as much as possible. I also do a feedback form which is optional which allows me to know what I can do better etc. I try to finish the artwork within a couple of days which has made my reputation known as being quick but also perfection.
