We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Vision Magazine a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Vision thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

Our women-comprised team has worked in the fashion and acting industries for many years. Our founder and Editor-in-Chief, Baily Roberts, has been a professional plus-sized model for over 6 years. She had personally experienced and witnessed discrimination in the fashion industry and wanted to be part of progressive change. From there, Roberts met Brittany Miller, an actor, graphic design artist, and model. Ever since, Roberts and Miller have been proud to create original works featuring incredible artists in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Our team is so excited for future projects and to work with even more talented artists in the future. Vision Magazine aims to move the fashion industry towards a more inclusive space while celebrating collaboration and talent from all backgrounds.

Vision, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Vision Magazine is comprised of women who have worked in creative fields for many years and who aim to create a safe space and inclusive future in the fashion and arts industries. We are an independent publication and production team that creates all original work in collaboration with talented artists in the DFW metroplex. Our magazine issues feature original stunning images produced by our production team, exclusive interviews with those working in creative fields, informative articles, and more. This makes our small business unique and one to watch out for in DFW. :)

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

For us here at Vision Magazine, the most rewarding aspect of our jobs is being able to freely express ourselves and work with some incredible people in creative fields. Dreaming of ambitious concepts and ideas and watching them come to life with our production team is truly indescribable. We love bringing our original ideas to fruition while striving to become part of the progressive change in the fashion and arts industries. Having the privilege to work in the creative fields we love while celebrating the collaboration with others to create a finished product is such a rewarding feeling. We love everything about what we do. :)

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Our mission is to celebrate collaboration with talent from all backgrounds with equal opportunity. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, respected, and admired for their determination and hard work.
