Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Virtual High Sound. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Virtual High Sound thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
It all started on a fateful day, two young Phoenix-based aspiring artist came together after hearing that they both shared interest in music. From there, the early foundation ,to what is now known as Virtual High Sound, started with KNWN and BEEZY collaborating as Nostalgia64. The Hip Hop duo then worked on various projects, creating songs, albums, music videos, and artwork, all while adding their personal creative touch.
After some time of creating and releasing music, Nostalgia64 reunited with an old friend that also showed a similar interest in creating his own music.. The duo did not take him serious until he proved his ability to get in front of a mic. He was unsuccessful at first but kept trying until he got it right. The duo then decided to make Rolling Perfect part of the dream team, making Virtual High Sound whole.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Virtual High Sound LLC was created out of love for music and art. The label consists of artists who are dedicated to creating the best art possible. At the same time focus on entertaining people through their unique livestreams; “VHS Gaming”, “Dont Call It A Podcast”, and “Road to Undisputed”

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Because of COVID, we had to take different approaches to reach our audience. We decided to create livestream shows on multiple platforms, which then provided content for social media.
The advice we would give is to keep going and be persistent. Don’t quit and just be yourself. MAKE CONTENT.
How’d you think through whether to sell directly on your own site or through a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc.
We have our own website, www.virtualhighsound.com , where we sell our music and merch.
The pros of having your own website; you cutout the middle man, you only worry about sending your audience to one place, no restrictions, and its nice to have virtual real-estate
The cons of having your own website; the price and money spent, and technical issues
